Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.56% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:34AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

DLF(up 1.46 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.13 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.63 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.5 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 0.97 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.55 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.52 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.29 per cent) were the top losers on the index.



The Nifty Realty index was up 0.56 per cent at 451.85 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 122.55 points at 17259.1, while the BSE Sensex was up 426.4 points at 57463.9.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, MRPL, Coal India Ltd and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Roto Pumps, Visa Steel Ltd, Khaitan(India), HB Stockholding and Uttam Sugar Mil hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Felix Industries, Akash Infra-Proj, Birla Tyres, P E Analytics Ltd. and Vaxtex Cotfab hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
